A Game of Facilitation Part Thirty- END (Art By Nexus)
In an alleyway, Mr. Accrue contacts regarding the Soaktown situation. An area like that could have a negative impact elsewhere in the country if handled badly. He wanted to handle it through the banks, through financial debt. But the newest facilitator felt it was best to handle it with the people. Those that understood Soaktown. Mr. Accrue doubts his acumen, but has no evidence to justify stopping him. Not bad for a first day on the job, Darkwitt.
The Reading:
The Celtic Cross spread is divided into two Factors, the cross and the staff. The cross represents the immediate situation of the spirit. And the staff comments on the life surrounding the immediate situation. The staff is designed to help interpret what’s shown in the cross. Like a painting, The cross is the subject, the staff is the background.
The Cross:
1. The Central factor, the heart of the matter: The Devil, Kadu
a. While Kadu feels like he is bound to this job at the moment. He needs to look beyond both superficial appearances he’s put up for himself, both as a trainer at the gym, and the demon he’s made himself to be to his gang.
2. The Secondary or Reinforcing Factor: The Empress, Makena
a. Kadu’s unorthodox way of uniting soaktown has been a welcomed and successful change. He’s a good leader, even if he doesn’t care.
3. The primary problem: The Reversed Strength, Warhorse.
a. Kadu’s rage, anger, and impulsive aggression has resulted in him gaining a LOT of enemies.
4. The Receding influence, the far Past: The reversed High Priestess, Bob.
a. Recently, there’s been several attempts on his life. Many of which had no resolution of who was responsible. As capable as bob has been, Kadu has come to terms his enemies are many, and most of them nameless.
5. What could come into being: Temperance, Anita.
a. The end result is the balance he sorely needs. To be the frightening, and powerful leader he’s always been, but using his reputation to push further and start to take measures of preventing others from encroaching on his territory.
6. What factor should be welcomed: Death: Tiptoe
a. Kadu should stop working defensively to resolve conflicts in soaktown. he needs to change his strategy, and start taking action.
Summary of Cross: Kadu started off creating equilibrium in soaktown. Whether people like to admit it or not, he’s ultimately provided a productive environment in the face of species adversity. But as of recent, Kadu’s been using his reputation and his strengths to be an image of fear, with little to no objective behind it. He’s gained many enemies and more challengers. People hate him; want to see him taken down a peg. Kadu hasn’t cared. Now he’s unable to keep track of everyone that wants him dead or made an example of. If he’s going to survive this, he’ll have to change the way he works and take charge in order to find the balance between respected leader, and feared tyrant.
The Staff:
7. What Kadu could be: The Tower, Maurice.
a. If Kadu doesn’t change his path. It could fall apart for him and everyone he cares about.
8. The outside environment: The Reversed Chariot, Datur.
a. Things in play are moving too far and too fast. Businesses and interested parties are playing their hands much too quickly in soaktown as of late.
9. Underestimated Influence: The reversed Heirophant, Christopher
a. Kadu hasn’t considered christopher’s attempts to muscle in on the territory. Doing so will cause turmoil in more than just kadu’s life. His system is getting disrupted.
10. The Most Likely Result: The Sun, Dieff
a. Kadu wants out of all this. Separation from all that has barred him down. This could mean freedom of expectation, of worldly affairs or responsibilities.
Summary of Staff: Kadu’s gang has become a problem to the outside world, and not only do gang rivals and independents want him dead, private investors are slowly pushing their hands so they can dismantle and recreate what Kadu has built. If these outside forces have their way, the people of soaktown will be pushed elsewhere, or tear each other apart in species wars. But if kadu changes his strategy and becomes more active, not only will his freedom be assured, soaktown will retain its identity and keep those who don’t understand its nature far away from power.
