Personality:
Georgia is a fairly quiet girl all things considered. Old-fashioned and from a small town, she tends to keep to herself and not be terribly outgoing. That does not mean she is antisocial. In fact, when she feels passionate about something she throws her all into it. However, it can sometimes take quite a bit for her to get into something, as she is quite passive about most things. This can be anything from types of food to her very way of life, and is one of the reasons she never became a Pokemon Trainer. After all, what was the point of it all? Monetary gain? Fame? Friends? She either already had or didn't need those things. Additionally, she didn't make up her mind about Pokemon until she was an adult and too old to start a proper journey in her eyes, so Pokemon was just something she never bothered with. Though her parents encouraged her to get a Pokemon partner, it was her stubbornness that made her stand by her decision.
Along with her penchant of being quite slow to act or decide on anything (such as she was with Pokemon,) Georgia can be quite restless. Her tendency to be bored easily means she becomes dissatisfied with things around her, and become stir-crazy. Perhaps this is the reason that she'd already moved twice in her lifetime. However, despite that she is quite loyal to her roots and the few friends she has made throughout her life. She tends to remember almost everyone she meets, and although is always skeptical of them at first, can remember small things about them or their meeting. Georgia considers herself a simple girl with simple needs, but she is of course anything but simple. She is working on self-improvement and putting herself out there to be more outgoing and open to others. Maybe even give Pokemon a chance.
We'll see how that goes.
Backstory:
Georgia and her family originally came from Mahogany Town. She grew up there, but soon grew quite restless in the small town. When she was a teen and old enough to work, she moved to Goldenrod City. She hoped the big city would keep her from getting bored, and she was right. Fairly quickly, she got an office job working in the Radio Tower and though she was young, she was a very hard worker, as she was sending money back home to her parents. Eventually, after a few years, many told her she should look into starting her own radio show, she never did. Although she wanted to branch out and do more with her life, be more outgoing, and actually start the radio show that those around her were suggesting, she found she felt no passion for it. Additionally, the shows at the station also centered around Pokemon, which Georgia didn't care for. It wasn't that she disliked them, she just didn't see the big allure of them as she'd never thought about keeping one, let alone becoming a trainer. She decided perhaps that was what was missing from her life, and decided to ask one of their regular guests, Professor Oak, for advice on the matter.
It was around this time when she got word from her parents about what had conspired at the Lake of Rage. The red Gyarados that was rampaging had laid waste to the lake, and her father had been quite injured in the commotion. Soon after, Team Rocket took control of the tower, forcing her and her co-workers out and taking some as hostages. They were saved by the Johto champion, and Georgia was able to see first-hand how dangerous as well as helpful Pokemon could be. It was all a two-way street, and she decided that she didn't need these creatures in her life if they had the capacity to cause such disasters. In the aftermath of the Team Rocket crisis, her father recovered and returned to work. Her mother was relieved they were both safe. However, Georgia once again began to feel dissatisfied and restless with where she was.
When she was 20, Georgia moved to the Issho Region hoping for a new start. She was well aware that the region was old, and that suited her fine with her traditional Johntonian routes. She set her sites on Union City, the biggest city in the region, with the hopes that perhaps it could suit her the same way Goldenrod did. She fell in love with the bustling city, though it soon became apparent that Issho was different, and perhaps even more dangerous, than other regions. Still, she supposed then she'd never be bored. Not that she was looking for excitement. Instead, she hopped to live a quiet life in the city, never attempting to bother anyone.
Of course, she'd never get around to that either.
