The first vessel and the "Charles Marie" is a former Granville trawler built in 1968. It is restored in 1999-2000 to be transformed into a cruise ship, rigged in dundee, two masts and sailing third.
The second ship and "La Recouvrance" is the replica of an aviso of the early nineteenth century gated schooner to topsail. This vessel was intended to transmit urgent warnings to the coasts of Africa and the West Indies.
The construction of La Recouvrance, started in 1990, was presented to the public on the occasion of Brest 1992.
