2 of 5. Bjorn is the old Scandanavian word for Bear. The runes from bottom up are Uruz (strength and power), the Thurisaz for (conflict and defense), the Eihwaz for (trust and protection), and finally the Tiwaz for (justice and lawfulness). These are symbolic runes and not nessisarily used in runestones.

Nice picture, for whatever odd reason, bears almost universally are given an axe in pictures like this. But this is almost a standard picture for someone that very well could be a berserker which basically called "bear shirt" as the Norse admired bears for their strength and ferocity. But given what we know of the real world animals, the legends can be only slightly off from reality.
