Danathius and Gold cling to Maverick's uvula for dear life while the dragon continues eating his snack, oblivious to the plight of the two, tiny individuals trapped in his mouth. Still fatigued from casting such a powerful spell, Danathius is unable to use more complicated magic to save both Gold and himself from this precarious situation! Unphased by the tickle in the back of his throat, Maverick shrugs his shoulders and continues his snack. By the time he's done, that annoying, nagging sensation in his mouth is gone! He's able to relax and enjoy digesting his snack in piece! He lets out a hearty belch after such a delicious snack -- that's how a dragon shows he's content with his meal, after all! For the tiny pair, it seemed as though Danathius was sabotaged from the start by Gold! The grey drake had an agenda, it seemed! This was totally his plan all along! Danathius had no way of knowing at all! Or did he...?
