It was a boring day, Thomas didn't feel much like working today. Trevor the traction engine saw Thomas and came over to him. " hello Thomas, what's on your mind?" He asked. Thomas sighed. "I'm bored. Everyday me or one of the other engines takes Annie and clarabel from the station to the sheds, passed the signalbox, and thought the crossing, or the other way around." He said sulkingly. " I'd be thankful if I were you." Said Trevor. "I have only 2 small sections of road to travel on." He added. "Weren't you once included in a six piece set?" Thomas asked. "I was never included in that set, I came in a 3-pack with Edward and Bertie." Said Trevor. "Where are they now?" He sighed. "I'm sorry that you don't have them with you." Said Thomas sympathetically. "But at least you have more friends to be with now." He said. "Thanks Thomas." Said Trevor. " I guess half a loaf is better than none." "I'm glad you feel better." Said Thomas. And with that he left the coal bunker.
