So here's something that you might not have expected to see when thumbing around my gallery: something to listen to!
EDIT: Snowy Fox did some updates to this track with some cleaned up audio and some tweaks here and there. Enjoy!
Now I dunno if you're aware of this or not, but I like fantasy stuff! Specifically I like paper-and-pen games I play with other furry likeminded individuals, and I've got quite a few images here in my gallery to back that up. I've made a real character out of myself in a fantasy setting, granted it's generally me wearing some kind of fetish outfit masquerading as a holy knight and/or paladin but hey, Western fantasy is more or less an excuse for girls to wear smutty outfits and talk in faux-Medieval speech while fighting/fucking orcs so that's no big deal. Anyway! I have a friend by the name of
snowyfox who does composing work for video games, and one day we just got to talking about my Fantasy character and I brought up my desire to have a cool theme song and... here we are!
This is "Righteous Thunder," composed as the theme music for Amy's fantasy versions (1, 2, 3). The general idea was to get a religious-themed track with a lot of harpsichord and choir work. A bit more subdued, something befitting a more quasi-villainous religious soldier type who may join your party on disc 3. My go-to inspirations pitched were Kenji Ito's "Castle of Needles" (SaGa Frontier 1) and Yasunori Mitsuda's Cage of Remorse and Relief (Xenogears). Snowy also pitched in some pipe organ from Miki Higashino's "Fugue - 'Praise Be to My Master'" (Suikoden 2) which I hadn't considered but dang I do love Suikoden 2. I think it almost sounds like something you'd hear in an old Tales Of or Star Ocean game!
The version here is the 128kbps version, as the 256kbps one is just a smidge too big for FA's upload limit
