Art by Puddle Cat who is also making more throughout the month if you want one. The animation is a little rough, but I like how wholesome is the Pillsberry Doughboy aesthetic akin to the PS1/N64 days.
Now I'm not one known for expressing pride for a variety of reasons. Like other commercialized holidays, Pride month has become a brand-recognition month more than serving any purpose remembering its history. (Have you seen the LGBT-BLT? That's hilarious for all the wrong reasons.) Second, my stance on showing pride has always been the policy of mutual apathy towards others; you don't care anymore than I care about your bedroom preferences, and that is how the world should be. As Virginia Woolf once said about the topics of women and fiction--no that is not an author I chose for a pun--the day when the topics are no longer separated but simply treated as one discussion is the day when true equality has been accomplished, so segregation is never the solution. Finally, while pride doesn't hold any inherent meaning to myself as that is only one aspect to my character, there are people around the world and the US who wouldn't share my stance nor live around tolerant people, so I have no qualms with their expression as long as they are being respectful of others around them.
Always remember the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would want to treat yourself. So be proud if you desire, but also don't be rowed when others disagree with you. You lose the argument if you don't act like the better man in the situation.
