This isn't a drawing of anyone I know. Just a kitty cat doing... something. lol...
My original idea was to have him swinging around this pole to tear at someone with his claws. But, that left paw looks more like it is holding onto the pole for dear life than actually swinging around it. So, now I am not sure what he's doing.
I leave it up to the viewers. You all can decide what is going on and the most popular theory wins. Is he attacking, swatting a fly, trying not to fall over.... getting ready to do a pole dance?

I doubt anyone could look that angry and be pole dancing. (Besides, his clothes are still on.)
What works here? The arms. It looks definitely like a comic scene with the dynamic pose I can honestly say. It's like.. it's so "busy" that what I want to say. The hair and the coat are in motion while the cat seems to be angry and hanging on to pole/pipe.
I think if I letterboxed this, then it would be like...he's hanging off a building brandishing his fist angrily at some type of menace/villain that got away. But that's merely my interpretation of it.
But I happen to enjoy the turn out of it none the less~
