This is a commission for TracySqueak(twitter).
This involves the dumb that is my worldbuilding nonsense for the Mana Tear and possessing "Elemental muse" critters that make the average person's day a bit more of a pain in the ass.
The muse in this case is named Pacity (like capacity) and is a tiny lightning donkey kirin thing that is jumping into November and possessing them. They'll be fine eventually but until the muse gets its fill of energy they'll hang around.

Indeed. Though generally there is always recovery...And it's mostly the people that leave towns that are more regularly subject to it. If you want to avoid a lot of this stuff you could just become a farmer or craftscritter and the number of ways to get transformed massively drops.
