This mommy-kitty was being abused and neglected, and was so pitifuly skinny. She was a stray and one of my friends sort-of adopted her but my friend's boyfirned hated cats and didn't treat the kitty too kindly. One day when he was not around, I showed up and met my friend and she gave me the kitty to take home. Not long after I started feeding her cat food instead of the table scraps she was getting, she got rather large in the middle. All of the food we gave her went to the babies. She had 7 live babies and one that was stillborn. Two of the babies in that photo are Nyx and Renfro, I can't tell which ones of course.
