Revised map to look just a little less like Europe. It's still really like Europe but I made a few changes so that it was less of a direct copy, chiefly separating The Worlds Edge Mountains (Scandinavia) from the mainland more, and making the would be Italy area no longer a giant peninsula.
Added a few names but still have come up with a lot more of them.
Original map is moved to scraps, here.

Yeah, for sure. Once I tried writing a story, and had described all the towns and distances and talked about how long it took the characters to get between towns... then I was trying to put together a map and it really wasn't happening. Darn inconsistencies.

oh yes very good map :D
but still I would miss the cities and roads on it ^_^ and I love the effects of oldness you put on the borders of the it and how you "highlighted" the few huge rivers :)
but I should try something similar with my Merashima since I found my old map of the floating continent again ^_^' - it needs to be redone to look more >_> ... believable o..o

Well that's not surprising really, as it's strongly based on the shape of Europe. I wanted it to be similar enough to have a sense of familiarity about it but be be just different enough to not seem like a location straight out of the real world... I think it may still need a few tweaks though to make it look a little less like Europe.
