Something I did while waiting for the release of Sword and shield.
In the Super Sentai series (the series upon which Power Rangers is inspired) in their later seasons have a scene in which the last few seconds of a season features an empty red space where the Red ranger of the team about to retire meets the Red ranger of the team that would begin next season. They then run off in opposite directions: the old Red ranger receding into the past while the new red ranger heads forward to the future.
Given how the Pokemon universe is about to pass the torch to the Sword and shield generation, I made a pastiche of the Red ranger trade off by using the fire starters of each generation in order to pair with the passing the torch metaphor.
First off, we have Charizard (representing generation 1 being finished) and Cyndaquil (representing generation 2 starting). Representing the release dates for the Gold and silver games depending on the regions of Japan and North America; no offense to the other regions, I just didn't have enough room for all the dates.
