"Good... bad... I'm the girl with the Light Saber." (A cookie to those that can guess the reference :P)
Jolene's choice of attire leaves much to be desired among other Jedi. She feels the flowing robes and drab colors don't help to define a Jedi. She says it should be a Jedi's personality and willingness to put themself before others, not the clothing that people should remember.
Before becoming a Jedi, Jolene was into dancing. She loved to dance and did so as often as she could, but i twas when she found that she was Force sensitive that her love of dancing would have to wait. Her studies of the Force also gave her a chance to study the Dark Side, to try and understand it, wanting to know why some turned when it meant throwing away everything dear to you. The more she studied it, the more fascinated with it she became. Despite her master's pleas and not heeding the council's wishes, she soon found herself learning the Dark Side of the Force.
For what ever reason, she did not seem to turn. Rather, she found herself growing stronger with the Dark Side, wielding her powers against others, but using her discipline from Jedi training to keep herself from becoming corrupted and turning evil. She would eventually gain a new light saber, modeled after the late Count Doku. Thinking she was a Jedi Knight, she sought out members of the Sith, but found herself out matched by Larra. Fighting for her life, Jolene was scarred when Larra's saber punctured a cooling tube in the reactor where they had found themselves, spraying Jolene's face with hot coolant. After minor surgery, she had a tattoo placed on the side of her face, covering her scars, reminding her that even a Jedi is not all powerful.
