Oh, ta. I've only seen pumps for tanks and pools. I take they run fresh water from a damn, underground supply, other water source or tanks. *hugs*

Bunner's is right I am on a well and that's where the expansion tank for the well pump is

My well is in the basement of a 10 x 10 shed in the back yard. The tank lives next to the pipe entry wall in the basement of the house -- keeps the pipes from freezing.

I've seen a couple of installations where are they put a concrete culvert on him and set the well inside the tank and everything inside that way nothing froze

That's what I've seen around here, too. The shed-and-cellar arrangement was here when we bought the original house 40-odd years ago, and the only major change we've made is moving the tank indoors.
