Bari Bari was the Monster of the week on Ep.11 of the UFO Robot Grendizer Anime and the 12th Monster overall presented in the show. A Humanoid type Saucer Beast, it was Green in color on its head, torso, fore arms, lower legs and feet, with a Blue abdomen and Pelvis. It was adorn with a black belt with red spheres, white spikes and spheres on it head, arms and legs. It had the two red color disks shields attach to its back. Its UFO mode was red and green on the top and bottom with antenna, with a black middle section with a row of spike. Its hull was covered in various Holes. It could fire a green magnetic beams from its shields and Red lasers in its UFO mode.

General Gandal calls Commander Blacki to set out for its next mission to destroy the various observatories on Earth prior to a Solar Eclipse, concern the seal on concealment on their Base would be lost with so many facilities looking at the cosmic event. This also presents as another opportunity to get rid of Grendizer by using the upcoming Solar Eclipse, as Solar energy is the robots power source, as well the effects on the Ionosphere would make Grendizer to go haywire. Blacki departs on the Motherburn with Bari Bari onboard and proceeds to attack Earth's various Observatories. With the news of the attacks, Daisuke takes off on Grendizer to investigate, destroying Minifos after they attack a station in Mt. Fuji.

Grendizer follows the Motherburn to orbit, falling into the trap, beginning to suffer the effects of the Solar Eclipse. Been kept in the shadow of the Eclipse, Bari Bari is launched to block Grendizer's escape attempt and Koji launches on the TFO to assist, but as soon it closes on the Ionosphere, his ship begins to suffered problems. Koji first uses its missiles to push Grendizer out of the shadow, but is stopped by the Beast, though various times, it save the Duke Fleed from shoots from the Ship. Bari Bari holds Grendizer on the Spazer to prevent from ejecting.

Koji notices Sun beams and he positions the TFO to reflect these on the Mecha, allowing it to charge up and ejects from the Spazer, avoiding another beam from the Motherburn. Duke Fleed tries to dock back to the Spazer but its stopped by Bari Bari. The Beast holds on to Grendizer as they fall on Atmosphere, both heating up on re-entry. Blacki orders to have the beast explode with the Mecha, but before they could hit the ground, Duke Fleed uses Anti-Gravity Storm beam, repealing the beast on time for it to destroy on its own. Grendizer docks back into the Spazer to attack the Motherburn, but Duke Fleed has to called off the attack do to wounds suffered to his arm in the fight, allowing Blacki to escape.
