The right tool for the right job. This a stabbing knife, for stabbing stuff and people you dont like.
Using it for anything else would be very irresponsible and unproffesional.

From what we have seen of her, she may give off bad vibes. But she hasn't done anything "bad" yet.
Well, except yelling at her patriarch and skulking around in catacombs doing god-knows-what.

She did tell Casifar that what he "thinks" he knows about him does not matter.
He could be an assassin, telling lies to get close to her etc.

Seems like an allusion. I guess it's good this group isn't always so hostile to foreign yinglets--they were just expecting someone. He should mention quickly that he wasn't sent by any organization.

Though, if you think about it. Mori´rai COULD be an elaborated assassin, getting close to his target by swaying the patriarch of PROTECTION?

Yes, even at the risk of life and livelihood.

After the later pages I can see why she would do that. Though I think she could just order him to kill him if she exposed him as an assassin, but he isn't and the patriarch could just keep both of them a good distance away from each other while they talk.
