The head doesn't look too big, but maybe...the snout is a hair too wide and/or long? The facial expression is nice, though. I like the "wriggly" smile.
I'm more concerned about the arms; it looks like he has no left shoulder, or a right elbow.
Legs look all right; I like this "in-step" moment you've captured.
I'd say it's a good test run.
