It is a pokemon battle, or well sort of. Nugget just makes easy work of Dark/Ice types.
This was by far the longest I have worked on a piece. It took about a month and a half from starting it though I wasn't working on it the whole time of course.

ok, just a few things about this piece as it is by far the most time I have spent on any artwork I have ever produced
1) perspective is hard. the tree was supposed to show that distances are a lot more vast than they seem. I just bad. That is why the buildings are, smaller than they probably should have been.
2) I actually really like the beam from the pokeball (off-screen)
3) I know the tree looks odd. It was modeled after the trees found in Ruby/Saphire as canonically my poke ocs are from Hoenn
4) I spent 2 months just focussing on this piece because I wanted to see how good I could get something without limits. most other stuff I make I upload around 48 hours after starting it so I wasn't used to spending a long time on one piece.
I really want to get better
