really doesnt!! im p sure as a manga its still considered a classic within sports manga for sure but its rare seeing people give much attention these days to sports manga past the ones created during the sports anime golden period a couple of years back (hq, knb, kp, etc)

This was such a good classic one tbh
And there was a shoujo volleyball one Crimson ___ (can’t remember the name) but it too was good
There were such good mainstream sports manga in the 90’s/early 2000’s (I lived for Eyeshield 21)

Ahiru No Sora also doesn’t get enough love despite being a good basketball manga too.

yesss absoolutely??? eeyeshield21 was my first sports manga and i fell head over heels for it immidiately. have yet to read anything that got me quite as invested for such a long haul without any real plot or development (lol)
ill have to read ahiru no sora i havent heard of it!!
