Actually for the second time since i had the stroke. The first was a cheerup piece for my friend Star I will post it too, I am getting better already.

Pepper was my favorite of all the rats I have had, she lived for about 2 years, which isn't too bad considering she was the sort of rat they sell at the pet store to feed to snakes.
I now have a blue rat named Runo. She's a sweetie, too. Hopefully she has better genetics and will live longer, being breed for a pet not for snake food.

It's not the best to use a grass brush for fur, it subtracts a lot from the quality of the piece and makes you look kind of lazy as an artist, I would suggest drawing in the fur, like tufts on the elbows, chest, tail etc; but, if your heart's really set on adding those individual strands for added detail just use small lines in various colors.
I am lazy as an artist. I used to be a really competent artist and in the past 6 months have had 3 strokes and my hands tire easily and I have never used photoshop before and it is fun. So I do this because it is fun and is helping me get my dexterity and flow back without getting discouraged, and the pieces after this one are much better I think and I can feel my eyes and hands working better and its been only a week. Thank you for the encouragement and the help I would appreciate more as I continue to improve.
