This is what happens, when you live in a tiny apartment and your dog wants to play..
Now that we've moved into our new house.. he's gotten to run all day long in the huge back yard.. goofball.
Brute was so strong and big then.. i need to get him some safe-guard wormer i think. He's been thin lately even with the disgusting amounts he eats...
No he was not biting me.. he has this thing of pulling me where he needs me to be, i was on our couch and he was lifting my leg, dropping it, lifting my leg and then would stare at me for not moving. He's a goofball alright.

i agree, it might also be that ear, we don't tape them like the breeders tell us to so he has that folded down square face like he's "supposed to have" he kind roses it like a staffy.. From the front he's got really long face, i have another photo of him in my gallery if you'd like to see, but still creepy that you said staffy.. i was almost ready to get one before he was given to me.. D: i might still :D
I will say that my dad's ridgeback has gotten mellower but can still bulldoze me over without meaning to. He is so sweet though and is afraid of the dark but sounds like a BEAST when he barks. But yes, they do calm down a bit, but smarts is -not- something they get as time goes on I'm afraid.
mine doesn't bark, he's almost 3 years old and i can count on my one hand the times he's barked... :/ it's hell trying to teach a silent dog to "speak" for a while we thought he had a health issue and had him screened for all sorts of stuff.. and then the vet said "wait, you're worried cause your dog *wont* bark?"
