Thank you! I came up with it because her original design was partly inspired by pigeons, if you can believe that! She had a purple and green stripe around the back of her neck like the birds do. But obviously because it was the back of her neck you never saw them! So I tried to think of a way I could keep that pigeon inspiration and came up with the iridescence, because the green/purple colour on their necks is also iridescent!

I had a non-furry character who was pigeon based, and I like pigeons in general (I even considered making my sona a pigeon griffin at one point) but I wanted to be a tiger, because that's my Chinese zodiac animal and also as a reminder to myself to be more fierce (I know cheesy) so I decided to try to incorporate something pigeon-inspired into the design!
