The knife from hell....
Done at last, and shipped out today with sheath and belt carrier/frog.
I may collapse in a gibbering little pool of ooze in relief for a while.
Photographed next to the paper cutout that was used to trace it onto the steel for the commissioner.
The grip is Axis deer, and because it was weirdly shaped when I got it, I had to cut it in half and twist the front end 90 degrees so that the damned thing would be up and down, instead of fat and wide.
The bolsters are welded to the tang.
Its heavy, sharp as hell, and could cut a tree down...If you were patient enough.

Nope, not anime, it's the Soul Reaver, the titular sword from the game series of the same name. :)
(Obviously its physical version, not the purely ethereal version from later games)
