Here’s Ancel! A kind of contrary chara of Lambiel. XD
I created him during a school lesson, maybe for that reason this chara like to study.
Biography:
Name: Ancel
Pickname: N/A
Age: 22 years old
Gender: Male
Specie: Hedgehog
Origins: The Saint Fortress (an awesome city where most of the exorcists and their family live)
Family: His parents (but his mother is dead), his two sisters
Actual status: Commander of the High Council Office (it’s a place where each reports from holy warriors and the orders of the high command arrives. It’s a researches office too.)
Side: Hero
Personality: Ancel is a true pure hearted guy, but unfortunately his artlessness often made him following a wrong way. Later he all the same became less naïve and managed to correct his old mistakes. That changed him into somebody serious but always listening to the others.
Ancel is also an hedgie in which you can count on, he always keep a promise and has a big courage, if somebody needs help he’s ready to intervene at once.
Like: His family, his friends, to help people that need it, to spend time in studies or to play with the orphans of the monastery where he lives
Dislike: Injustice, demons and evil creatures, the demons hunters (yes, “sweet methods” of exorcists and “violent carnage” of most of the hunters make them detesting each other XD), Lambiel’s behaviour
Powers: Holy magic and healing powers, he can use a lot of objects like holy water and crucifixes to fight too
Special capacities: Thanks to the Key of Heaven he can get an angelic form during a little moment
Story: Ancel is the son of the Saint Fortress’s ambassador and a noble lady.
His mother was particularly touched by the fate of demons because she knew that some of them weren’t dangerous for the other people and just wanted to live in harmony with mortals. She was considering them in equals when everybody else in the city just wanted to get rid of them and kill all the “evil creatures”. Unfortunately, when Ancel was 7 years old, she was killed by a vampire and a special object, the Key of Heaven, that she still was keeping near her like a jewel disappeared.
This tragic event made him deciding to become an exorcist and to protect his family from the evil creatures. He also wanted to find back the murderer of his mother. For that he made big efforts and studied a lot, it became a model pupil in only few months.
He also got the protection of the cardinal Rougemont that decided to encourage the young exorcist to follow the way of “divine justice” and to destroy each kind of demons, good or not.
One day Ancel met with Lambiel that had already become a vampire and noticed that he was supporting the crucifixes. The exorcist thus thought immediately that it was the one that had killed his mother.
Lambiel tried to explain to him that he was wrong but the hedgehog didn’t want to hear it and decided to chase the vampire everytime to take revenge.
After some years everything changed when Lambiel decided to help the exorcist by showing his innocence and revealed the truth about the death of his mother.
In fact she had been killed by a mercenary sent by the cardinal Rougemont because she had discovered his dark plan. The man wanted to use the Key of Heaven that she was keeping to open the gate to the heavenly world and use the divine judgement to kill and send back to Hell each “evil” creatures.
But he had to use somebody of the same blood of Ancel’s mother to can finish his plan, he thus had lied to the young hedgehog and had tried to control him. For that he wanted to make Ancel detesting demons and had used a stratagem for that everybody thinks that a vampire was responsible of his mother death.
It was really hard for him to recognize this but then the hedgehog denounced the acts of the cardinal to the High Council before to go and see the wicked man himself. After a hard battle against the mercenaries of the cardinal Rougemont, Ancel managed to take back the Key of Heaven. But the cardinal managed to escape when the soldiers of the High Council arrived to arrest him.
After having learnt what had happened, the superiors of Ancel decided to give him the function of commander of the High Council Office. Like that the hedgie would be able to watch over the acts of the Church soldiers and meanwhile to have access to important data to help him to find back the renegade cardinal.
