The first part of the investigation seems to go well, as the local Constabulary (detective branch thereof) is friendly. There's a definite view by them (the detectives) that something odd is going on.
Also odd, perhaps. They serve pints of plain in the tropics! Served by knowledgeable bartenders.

It seems the Inspector and the Sergeant remain very much themselves although at least this Inspector has a far less tragic story for his injury.
And yes, Bucky is very much still Reggie, diminutive Fausti remains the all knowing bartender and the ma'muul seem to have the same reputation... and we have a bowler hatted, sober dressed, flat tailed fur... no prizes for guessing who that mysterious fur is, eh?
