While I didn't do it up as high, in high school I used enough mousse on my hair to produce roughly the same consistency.

My sisters were teenagers in the 80's and they kept hairspray companies in business. Thing is, they only got about 10% of it actually on their hair, the rest made a sticky mess on the bathroom tiles that would be like walking on flypaper..

I'm glad my sister left that phase in the 80's, my god, it was like a war zone in the bathroom... smoke rolling out the doorway... Hard to breath until it aired out or someone opened a window... and empty canisters of Aquanet scattered across the small room. Let me tell you, it wasn't easy sharing a bathroom with her.

Big poofy 80s hair for the fail... I had crunchy hair in junior high too though; I put gel on it to try to get my bangs to float instead of just lying there plastered to my skull. Then I started wearing hats, which rendered the whole thing pointless.

I like what Candi is wearing. Is this based on actual wardrobe?
