As much as I enjoy drawing my OC Asael getting the best of Mirage, it'd be foolish to think that there weren't any repercussions. This idea came up after the whole Mirage mummification event that Asael "reluctantly" took part of (they're in my gallery. Not hard to find). She'd be particularly crossed with him! Zapping him or beating him would not do. A taste of what she went through is the right way to go, with some surprises in store for him.
I once saw pics of really worn hieroglyphics of prisoners tied to poles, so I went with that. I broke out my old book on perspective to try and make Mirage's hand fit as best as possible. I guess I made it work. Initially, it was much smaller. Undecided, I cut up a piece of paper and drew a bigger version. It filled the scene better, so I taped it place. It must be said that no matter how many times one draws hands, they're still complex things to get right.
