I did have a few both historical and fictional armor references along with a pretty consistant description of the overal design in mind on his part. The outcome thought, you can say it's a combination of those references, his ideas for the design and some added of my own, wich happen to be things like the helmet, boots, chest piece, belt and the covering for the tail's base and thighs are entirely of my own.
