I decided to write another poem. The inspiration stemmed from my impression of the character of the standard fan. Of anything, really.

lol, sorry.
Ok, here it is then.
The Surface
A crevasse, dark, and deep beyond measure,
Suggesting quite plainly that it might hold treasure,
Wretched in structure, demented in scheme,
As creatures consider, it beckons, obscene,
The gravity massive, the risk quite unknown,
Adventure commences, unchecked and alone,
With darkness encroaching, and quest seeming folly,
A shout might elicit an echo, quite jolly,
Why search for a treasure in shadows below,
When there's nothing above, why assume this is so,
The canyon itself, is quite dull and opaque,
With the echo itself as uniquely unfake,
The pull of the canyon is quite strong indeed,
What grants it this power, what gives us the need,
With wisdom, one might stay above ground just the same,
And elicit an echo or two as a game,
A strategy known to elicit a pleasure,
Quite roughly equal in nature and measure,
The adventurer claims as her one novel feat,
An enclosure, which traps her, like mandibles eat.
