Is she a wolf/dog cross? What dog breed? =)

She is half wolf actually.husky malamute-timber wolf cross. pretty cool huh?

Neat, how's keeping her? I work at a Wolf Conservation Center but have never worked with a cross. The full wolves are totally un-trainable and un-tamable lol

well she's pretty quiet except whent the storm season's around. she hates the thunder n lightning. when i first brought her home she escaped quite a few times by taking a running leap and headbutting the door open. hahaha! but in a way its alot of fun to chase her. i had to go clear to the state line of indiana and michigan to get her. shes such a good girl though and its easy to take care of her. she howls whenever i play with her.

I have had 2 full wolves and 2 hybrids and I have found both to be trainable. Not in a dog like fashion but they are trainable in their own way. and they do require their friend to be trainable as well. In that type of give and take environment they( we) do quite well

that is true. but you half to factor in the fact that theyre half wolf. krystal has had a couple of instances where she about bit my head off. so you gotta be careful!

oh yeh. its heaven for me. ive always wanted a dog like her. and now she's mine and i would never trade her for anything.

I know just what you mean. I miss my pack; Shadow Runner, Hawk (both full timber), Silver, and Timmain.
Timmain was the last to pass on and she, like the rest, lived to almost 15 years, life feels quite lonely without them now

i know what it means to be without a a pack. my krystal was drugged by some enemies of mine from the next county. they broke into my house and tried to kill her. i was so horrified, i almost lost my precious pet. for every pack you lose, you have a chance to start anew.
