I have lived with ferrets for years and am a very proud mom of two little thieving catsnakes as of this writing. :3c So I suppose that helps, hehe~ (I love mustelids in general tho ngl anything that kind of resembles a weasel and I'm in love tbh)

I wonder if little details like that are going to be noticed so it makes me happy to hear you did. ;w; The type of lighting you're referring to is called "subsurface scattering" if you'd like to research it further and see how it works (assuming you don't know already, that is!). I've studied a lot of photos to get a better idea of how to sorta replicate the effect in my work. :3
