Seemed like a good timing to do a scalie after doing many fluffy guys~! Here we have a black dragon guy in his lair… but something about this lair seems very off and un-lair like~! Might be a good idea to retreat!

Being married to a Dragon, I can testify that the reports of dank, uncomfortable dragon lairs are a falsehood. On the contrary, they are quite cozy, well appointed, and shielded from the elements. They also are frequently difficult to access and make for good hording places. Think of Fort Knox mixed with a cozy mountain cabin with the convenient locale (for a flying Dragon anyway) of a Park Avenue apartment. It's kind of like that.
Oh wow, this is another amazing piece! Always love how you draw scalies! They always come out so huge and powerful like your felines and I absolutely can't get enough of your anatomy style and detail! You always make the muscles look so strong! I really love the design of this guy! Love how his black/grey color contrasts with his golden spikes and shorts! As always, such beautiful shading and gorgeous background! ^^
