First winter image of the year..and last I guess since it's almost new years.
anyhow I'd like to state that its head looks like Kimos(my dog) and its fluffy like a wolf, but it is indeed a jackal, a white one, in the wrong environment. the ref image was an actual jackal and I'm happy with how close it came out, so yes, a jackals head does actually look like that. perhaps a little less fluffy but animals adapt to their surroundings no?! ^_^

after studying a bunch of canine heads I found all smaller canines (shiba inus, foxes, arctic wolves, jackals and the like) all have the SAME DAMN HEAD.. from the front view anyways. From the side they have slight differences but HEY i'm not drawing a portrait now am I?
