Monocerus Village - Nighttime

This is a nighttime version of a drawing I did of a monocerus village in the heart of a huge forest. On the banks of a winding river are many monocerus burrows, each with the occupant's name (written in their native language) on the top of the entrance, and little depictions of their specialty drawn on the sides. Outside of some of the burrows are nests where the monocerotes lay their eggs. At night, torches flicker, making the forest glow and the river shimmer. Daily life continues into the night in this village, and the burrows are open, the light coming inside signaling that the occupant is still awake.
