This is what's known in the industry as a man eater it's for gouging out welds and cracks and aluminum.
The grinder is 10000 RPM so the speed of that blade exceeds a chainsaw so yeah it'll chew you up faster than a chainsaw. One place I worked if you didn't use both hands and the handle it was reason for immediate firing

That actually looks like a purpose made blade. I've just got one from a trim saw for mine.
It looks scary, and snags more often, but really... even an abrasive disc at 12k RPM will go through my pants and a couple inches into my leg quicker than thoughts can process.

Yes it is a specialty blade that's been ground specifically for grinding out welds cuz it has a radius to the edge. Also there is no rake to the blade so it doesn't dig in it actually scrapes the aluminum away. The replacement cost on that little Jewel is $90 now when I get through with this job it will be going in to be sharpened.
Oh, yeah! When I worked at the nuke plant back in the 1980s, I had to run a contractor to the ER to see if he could get his thumb reattached (he could, but it was more than 1/4" shorter). He was cleaning up a repair to a loader with an almost identical grinder. I was afraid of my circular saw for a month after that!
Compared to this thing a skill saw is a well-trained pony. I have complete respect for this tool and I have seen people show no respect for it and get hurt. I guess I shouldn't tell you what I have for a skill saw dot-dot-dot it's a big Black & Decker Worm Drive. I wish I had a dollar for every lineal foot of aluminum the Beast is cut.
Associates me with a robot hunter from the movie "The Screamers". (The first part - the others are very mediocre).
In my work I had to use grinders, sometimes with such blades. What to say - they can be very angry things. There was one case when the tooth broke off and was launched at the speed of the bullet.
- So that the hands protection and face protection, from other parts of the body, the shrapnel is take out easier.
