I think is a change from your usual work with humans and mammals. I like the neck and shoulder skin folds (sthose in the neck are gills?). The coloring is good as usual. I’m trying to guess what drawing tool did you use for the shadowing... watercolor? Chalk? For the glow in the face you did use a layer tool didn’t you? I think the thing I like the most is the transparency of the fins.
