I know what you mean. I'm prior military, and I've had to wear it for hours on end. It really sucks when you get an itch on your face and you can't take it off. You just have to start thinking of other things and get your mind off the itch.

Ufffh... I can imagine. DX Thank goodness I didn't have to keep it on.

On the flip side, they do muffle snores some. When I was taking cover, I was under a conference room table, and my Colonel was on the other side. The brick (radio) was sitting next to me as I was in charge of it. It went off announcing Alarm Black - MOPP 4. We proceeded to get out from under the table, we had been under there for over an hour, and my Colonel was laughing his ass off. He told me that I was snoring so loud, he could hear it through the mask. He said he's never heard anyone snoring that loud before.

I guess they come in handy in more than one ways, then. I know a couple of people who could have use for it. Or actually their spouses. :B

LMAO! Well, they aren't 100% effective. My Colonel still heard me through mine.
