I adore the mood you created in this. The repetition and everything was very good. There's just one part that bothers me.
The red snow falls
Tinting all in red
The double "red" there should be fixed. You could find a different adjective for the snow pretty easily, I think. What comes to mind is "The dead snow falls", but ultimately you'll probably find something better.
