Mostly a test in colouring, showing you the sort of direction I want to take it- the long, fluffy fur is drawn in, whereas short areas are left to the paint, so they look much smoother. Easy enough to do on Ru, but he's mostly grey, so I'll have to try it on some other characters to really get a feel for it. x3
Also, another sort of few suggestions from that last journal.
graedius suggested "feral critters, quadrupeds"
swiftpaw also suggested "something quadrupedal"
And I believe that's actually all of them... correct me if i'm wrong.
For the most part though I just wanted to try my hand at drawing something a little more feral. Because they can be quite cute and I wouldn't mind learning how.
It's... far from perfect, I know, but you can count the number of times I've drawn feral animals on one hand, pretty much. Hopefully someone out there will enjoy it anyway. And for you crazy folks out there who don't like porn, another clean peice to look at! ;P
Also I know his legs are quite long, but that's intentional. Remember, he is a 'stilted fox' after all!

Heh - I smell a challenge! I might have to snag yas when you're open for one of my more recent commission methods. >) Been giving the artist some basic references, a selection of characters for them to choose from and then setting them loose with full creative control over what to do from there with the commission. XD Some of the results have proven quite interesting. ^^

You definitely went the whole way with this one, those eyes really capture the feral look~ <3 (Since feral tends to refer more to the animal state of mind). Trying to imagine seeing such a creature in the wild, he'd be one of those beasts mentioned throughout history as rarely seen and highly valued. >3

To add critique the only thing I might note (and this is only after staring at it for like 5 straight minutes mind you) is that the forepaws likely should have a slight bend before the paw if y'know what I mean. The equivalent of a 'wrist' area.

Well, the amount of differences between drawing the two really aren't too staggering, so with a ref refs to glance at here and there it's not too hard to at least take a stab at it. You can definitely see my lack of experience, but it could be much worse, heh. Thanks much :3
