The otter rookie sensation Petri Saukkonen has scored his second victory of the season at the Spanish GP, increasing his lead in the championship points standings! Natasya Maksimov's 10th place finish earned her first point of the season as well. Sadly however, after yet another DNF by Amna al-Nahyan, her father (and team owner) has fired her.
Notable race incident
Lap 45/66 - Amna Al-Nahyan's Hamad Force car spins on turn six of the track as she tried to oversteer around the corner. It veers off the track but instead of staying there to wait out the rest of traffic as they go by her, she spins again to correct herself and drives back onto the track in an unsafe manner. Unfortunately, in the process of doing so, she collides with the wheels of Alisson Tanward's OculuTech vehicle, and both vehicles become too heavily damaged to continue on the race.
