In the spirit of beginnings
I ask this question true
For all stories lacking endings
Just what are we to do?

Within the ocean of your dreams
Our course is undefined
Just where is our happy ending?
When will these stars align?

For some questions, there's no answer
Just drifting through the night
There's no battle to be fighting
No wrong to set to right

In this realm, the story changes
Shapes morphing all around
With each thought another triumph
Just left in lost and found

So all the choices I could make
Are made and yet are not
Do I truly need an ending
Within this realm of thought?
