I do agree! And thanks for the reminder—actually just responded to someone on Twitter about that. I originally added 'species', but ran out of room in the Tweet, so I stuck with just race (since race is more commonly found in fantasy RPGs/literature/games/etc).

Your artworks attracted me because they seem to come from a big heart as its main source..., and now that heart beats stronger than ever in this piece that is, I dare to say, one of your very best!
I truly can feel how strong is the affection, the intimacy, the friendship and the commitment to each other between these two lovers, to the point of not being sure if leaving them alone to allow them to love each other or throwing myself to their arms to hug them tightly while telling them loudly: "You both are inspiring, guys, really!"
But I think your description above shows much better than my own words why this particular piece is that inspiring. Both as a geek and as a homosexual dude, artworks like this one help me not only to feel proud of who I am..., but pretty much thankful as well .
