So, this is my first official HALO character, and my first official MechWarrior character, too. I know the lore and the idea of BattleTech/MechWarrior and my who ideal is: FUCK THAT LOGIC!!! If people think we're the only sentient beings in the universe (or even the only other life in the universe) then I say that statistically and realistically impossible, and I laugh at people who try to dispute this logic!
Nevertheless, I must say, I do like this character a lot, to say the least! I do have both HALO and MechWarrior lore down below.

Victa 'Thel was a Sangheili that found herself launched out of an escape pod when she was extremely young due to a pirate attack that happened in her home system. It lead to her to finding her way into human space at an extremely early age. Her escape pod landed on a backwater world away from the main part of human space, where she was found by farmers that gave her a chance with life. Growing up, she had it extremely rough. Being an alien to the human race, people had to effectively learn how to raise her up without any prior experience, which lead her to living a VERY rough life at the start. She was ridiculed and made fun of growing up, however she was living mostly around humans, and it lead her to effectively putting up with being bullied quite often at a very young age to the point of having to be home schooled only. Thing was, her demeanor changed as she came of age. It became clear she was physically stronger and taller than most humans, which she took that into a series of different ideals that could lead her down a multitude of different paths.
From here, this is where her bio splits to loosely match either the HALO or MechWarrior timelines.
Origin World: Reach[/I]
After coming of age, Victa had since opted to join the UNSC to assist in their restoration efforts following the end of the Human-Covenant War, opting to lend her hands towards a number of worlds that the UNSC was trying to re-establish as their colonized worlds. Thing was, she wasn't exactly that welcomed, and for good reason, considering what the Sangheili and the rest of the Covenant had done. It stands to reason that she had certainly faced a lot of resistance from most other colonists and a few UNSC higher ups. Thing was, that didn't last too much longer, as the rise of Jul 'Vdam soon meant that she was soon forced to go to the front lines, working directly with UNSC personal as a marksman, she rapidly gained a reputation as a 'Masked Fighter', usually keeping the visor polarized during combat, and even when outside of combat, as she found that most humans seemed to be more tolerant of her when they couldn't see her face. She found it very odd, but never challenged it, and just ran with it over time.

Origin Region: Edge of the Periphery [/I]
After coming of age, her foster parents managed to get their hands on a salvaged Locust scout 'Mech that they ended up finding left over from the Third Succession War. They stripped it down and got it running at its bare minimum, however they mostly used it for heavy lifting. Victa took a heavy interest in it while they were fixing it up to the point that she ended up putting more time in restoring it and reprogramming the entire interface of the cockpit than her parents did! In fact, they just let her use the thing and sometimes described her as being a dainty as a figure skater in a china shop while piloting something that was comparable to that of a bull in said shop! It lead to her effectively being able to use it for work while letting her parents represent her while on the ground, giving her a 'masked' presence to those who saw her work. To anyone else -- due to the cockpit's tinting -- they just thought she was a simple human who spent way too much time inside the cockpit of an unarmed 'Mech.
Thing was, after some years after she'd assisted in helping crews set up a new star port on her foster home world, the Clan Invasion started up, which her planet was caught in the crossfire. Victa attempted to get her family off the planet at the time by trying to get them to the newly made star port, however her home was destroyed during her return run back from the star port in question. Equipped with nothing but her mere wits and the unarmed Locust BattleMech as well as about 350K in C-Bills, Victa was forced to board a Leopard-class drop ship where she stowed away from the rest of the crew and staff and waited for the ship to come to a stop. Thing was, this didn't happen until about a month later. In the mean time, she'd been discovered by the crew, who kept a tight lip about who she was. They gave her a place to stay and allowed her to continue to hide away on the ship until they arrived at Solaris. From there, she was allowed off -- with a new modification to her Locust that gave her a proper extended living quarters and enhanced life support system -- where she got her 'Mech modified in a private hangar that was donated to her by the same crew as well.
When she heard about the Solaris Championships, she opted to enter, avoiding all cameras and identification beyond generalized information. At that time, nobody said anything, and allowed it to happen, and in time, she managed to partake in the fighting, granting her the nickname of the 'Masked Gladiator', due to the tinting on her cockpit being such that nobody could see in, and she always disabled cockpit cameras, much to the protest of the camera crews and personal of the stadiums. The following battles inside her Locust garnered her quite a bit of winnings, and being the more cunning and skilled pilot out of the earlier and lower bracket championships, it meant she was able to rack up enough cash in a hurry to start really moving up in the world. It was such that she effectively kept renting out the donated hangar for her own shelter and safety, rarely using any of the Solaris stadium MechLabs at all, preferring all her work in a private hangar to allow herself to work on her 'Mech in private.
Now, she still partakes in the Solaris Championships, now participating in Heavy-class fights as well as mixed-class fights, usually ranking in the top five under most brackets using her own specially modified Marauder MAD-3R that she's nicknamed 'Ground Pounder', however she's found herself wanting to help out other Houses by becoming a mercenary. Issue is, she can't really find anyone that is willing to take her in without showing her face, and is now looking for a way off Solaris to help her search.
The BattleMech's build is listed below, and features a full living quarters inside the back of the cockpit. Her 'Mech, the MAD-3R Ground Pounder, effectively is designed for sniping, hence her role as a sharpshooter. She's known to usually hang back and fire off at enemies from a distance, however she will go in for a skirmish, if need be.
Nevertheless, I must say, I do like this character a lot, to say the least! I do have both HALO and MechWarrior lore down below.

I think BattleTech and halo would go perfectly with each other if given the chance. I myself imagine star league stranded in halo universe with them having no way go back. ^^ For 3 centuries they stranded and in that time created a empire and created the new star league or star hegemony and thanks to finding a cache of forerunner technology they able to become alittle more technological advanced but not too advanced, something between what they are when came to btech universe and covenant own tech. Even having some covenant join them as they still keep the star large or terran hegemony aspects with a bit of clans mixed in it.
Anyways wont chat ya too much and I do hope see more halo/BattleTech from you again
