'May wrote, failing to consider the fact that Ash and Misty’s ‘relationship’ was largely complicated by denial, stubbornness on both sides, physical abuse, and Ash being completely oblivious to love.'
Except since Misty made her wish, and it comes true first since he wrote it down first, she'd logically have the relationship Misty wishes for.
Regarding May and Drew: Tim's definition of beauty is far far too narrow.
The gender TFs are kinda over done in this IMHO. Brock was nice irony, Richie, one logical way to fulfill things. The rest were just surplus.
And once again, Tim misses the whole point of Paul's character. Basically Paul has taken over Gary's position as the demonized trainer.
Deliah's transformation at least is play poetically low key.
"As they say, one is the loneliest number."
ÒWhat about zero?Ó she asked.
Ignor: Like the number zero. In of itself empty, but containing all possibilities. -- Persona 3
The most moronic thing is: like Farla's pokemon trainers, your version of Paul's pokemon would have murdered him in his sleep or turned and stepped out of the way of a hyper beam and let it hit Paul or just turn on him and slaughter him the next time they were released for training or a battle.
And in the story were Drew was turned into the lowest of low pokemon? I can see him jumping and clawing the eye out of the first of his pokemon that attacked him and quickly establishing himself as top gerbil.
“Don’t worry. I’m positive that you will be one day, son.
Again poetic considering the phrasing of Max's wish.
Also, poetic that Glaceon would share the same traits as the other egg pokemon.
"Well, come mating season, she's gonna find out that Zero there is completely compatible with her egg group." They all laughed as they went to their chores.
Maybe she'll LIKE being pregnant, it would certainly fit with her wish.

Oh he very much represents that. But I wish you'd over the idea that his pokemon hate/or otherwise think lowly or negatively of him.
I'm still waiting for Ash's Buizel to realize that Paul is MUCH MORE along his lines of thinking than Ash is and ditch Ash and become part of Paul's team. If only writers these days weren't allergic to genuine face heel turns. (Always having to throw in brain washing, was never really good, etc).

I was actually going to, and actually never read this message until Ryu messaged me again on this subject that I had totally forgotten about and moved onto more important matters, but seeing this message now, I just have to say that was well, that was tribal.
I guess I should be thankful for Paul's existence, he's caused Tim to slowly wander away from thinking of new ways of hating May and Gary.
