My only question is how it'd happen, but in a world with reality breaking magic, magic in general, bird people, and gods. Two guys having a biological child isn't that far of a stretch.

Yeah, my DM and I have had almost embarrassingly lengthy conversations on our thoughts about dragonborn physiology/ecology in general (i.e. Maybe they're mono-sex, and only perform gender roles/use pronouns as a learned concept? We once toyed with the idea that chromatic dragonborn are actually sterile). We've still yet to land on any details, but like you said, in a world of magic, it hardly matters.

Like, it's not something that gets touched upon that much, but the Fangs and their clutches weren't even 'laid,' they were created, magically, by great chromatic dragons.
