I wanted to try a sandwich / composite ring and decided on Koa for the outer bands and pear/loquat wood for the middle as it gives a nice contrast in color. I was so happy with the result I made two more blanks with different wood combinations, both of those will be coming along probably tomorrow so stay tuned.

these seem to be fairly straightforward, biggest hurdle is I don't technically have the right equipment to make them, but that being said I seem to be able to make 2 per day after getting off work, except the ones like this of course, gotta wait at least a day for the glue to dry.
