Satomi Sa’q (Satomi= Japanese female name with connection to beauty, Sa’q is the Sekir word for sexual arousal) is a 17 year old Sergal who lives in the city of Reono in the east of Tal. Satomi’s mother was one of the last pure Western Sergals remaining after Rain’s genocide but she died soon after Satomi was born. Satomi was raised by her father who was a police officer of the Shigu Dukedom; as such she frequently traveled across the North during her childhood. This meant that Satomi has many contacts living in different locations that she can draw upon.

Satomi has a unique albino/white fur colouration stemming from a deleterious epistatic interaction between her two parent genomes. Teased for this during her youth, Satomi has now claimed ownership of her appearance. During her teenage years Satomi worked many jobs to afford the expensive fur dyes that she uses to achieve her unique fashion style. Whilst working as a shop assistant in Reono, Satomi was spotted by a local fashion designer and given her first modeling job. She was rapidly spotted by an agent of a major premium dye product company and is now one of Tal’s most famous and beautiful models. This is a double edged sword. She is able to travel across the North and East using the Agudner’s new railways and engage her love of traveling but is constantly flanked by journalists and fans who do not respect her privacy. Although famous in the Northern Shigu Dukedom and Eastern Reono, Satomi is relatively unknown in the city of Gold Ring as travel across the Sailzane desert is difficult and time consuming. In the year 102 RC Satomi received an invitation to visit Gold Ring from an elderly Sergal named Hiroji Namiq. Perhaps one day she will visit Gold Ring in order to get some privacy.

Satomi is a kind hearted individual deep down but appears narcissistic to others and uncaring about the state of the world. This is a psychological reaction to being constantly flanked by her fans. She loves fashion and traveling but has a special love for the beauty of the Lyvank mountain range. She loathes the journalists and fans who constantly pursue her and has a dislike of the quasi-religious Judda system that many of the Eltus people follow. This is because she believes that she is outwardly beautiful enough to be considered a Judda but is barred from the position due to her abnormal fur colouration.
