After the first Cyberpunk attack on Angel Island, the government of the southern region of Mobius ordered the creation of an elite unit, whose purpose would be to protect the island from future attacks and thus prevent these mercenaries from taking control of the great gem that there it's hidden: The Master Emerald.

As the last of the legendary guardians of the island, the echidna known as Knuckles was called to be the commander and leader of this military unit. Along with him, agents Rouge and Shadow were also called, however, the latter preferred to stay out of the session.

In search of new and powerful allies, the military tried to contact the famous hedgehog Sonic and his friend, the genius of mechanics Tails, but only the young fox came to the call.

Over time, new recruits came to the call and a military fort was built on the island. Finally the unit was complete and was baptized with the name of Emerald Guardians, the protectors of chaos.

But... Would this be enough to stop the ruthless Cyberpunks?
