The Masked Bard, an enigmatic figure that travels all over performing for any who wish to hear his wondrous tales and whimsical songs. No one really knows who he is, or she is really! Many claim that the bard is male, while others swear that the masked bard is a woman but in truth, they are both right, after all, who could create a greater identity mystery than a mischievous Changeling?
Gear:
Masks - The front half of their head is completely concealed by an ornate mask, the material is made out of both wood and metal, giving the facial accessory a sturdiness that can withstand harsh blows as well as give an air of mystery to the bard. However, if their hood were to be pulled back, one can see that the mask extends to the back of their head, most likely to make sure that in most circumstances, the mask is likely not going to come off unless they wish.
It appears the bard has more than one, considering that there are times the mask would have different facial expressions such as, Happy, Sad, Angry and etc.
Concealing Armor - Despite how magical it sounds, the bard's armor does not contain any enchantments whatsoever, it's called Concealing Armor mainly because it completely covers their body, leaving no gaps or tiny cracks that would give outsiders a glimpse of what he could be under the armor. Plus, they double as everyday clothing as well, provided they take off the chest armor and leave the tunic on.
Slapstick Comedy - These reinforced, studded leather gauntlets were specially made for unarmed combat. Specially tailored for them, these fashionable and stylish arm wear are padded to stay comfy for an indefinite amount of wear time and can pack a mean punch when it comes to getting up close and personal.
Minstrel's Boots - Boots built with a healthy balance between fashion and practicality. Specially reinforced for long time use, these comfortable boots provide their feet the best comfort they could have when traveling. Stomping on heads with no issue is just an added bonus.
Curtain Call- A serrated sickle hidden somewhere under their armor. Sure it looks a little flashy with it's unusual appearance but it does the job well in a fight. Such a pity that some performances end too early, but self-defense is self-defense. Great for making a comeback.
Finale - A sharp dagger safely tucked in their boot. The handle is slightly fancier than the blade itself. A backup weapon in case of dire situations, also great for ending a performance. Figuratively and literally.
The Red Queen - An affectionate name they gave for their fiddle. The instrument is made out of a high quality red tinted wood that makes it seem as if the instrument was made out of blood. Both regal and sinister in its appearance, they make lovely music with it.
Heartache - A cleverly made rapier hidden in the bow for The Red Queen. This hidden weapon looks very much like an ordinary bow but with upon closer inspection one could clearly see the bladed edge that sticks out several inches on the other end. The bow also seems to act as a sheath for the actual weapon, with a firm tug, the bard can fully unsheathe their rapier for combat.
White Rabbit - A cute name for their second musical instrument, a mandolin made out of white wood. The instrument is adorned with rabbit and nature like motifs, giving it a whimsical and slightly childish appearance.
Flourishing Gambit - The bard hides a fair number of throwing knives on their person and often throws them with a dazzling flair to distract and confuse before they realize they're about to have a rather bad day.
